About LAPKB
The Laboratory of Applied Pharmacokinetics and Bioinformatics (LAPKB) is part of The Saban Research Institute at the Children's Hospital Los Angeles and the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California. We are a pharmacometric resource for optimal study and control of pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic systems and for individualized drug therapy and personalized medicine.

We develop and apply mathematical and computational methods to optimize drug therapy for populations and individuals. Our work focuses on:
- Population pharmacokinetic modeling - Understanding drug behavior in groups of patients
- Bayesian adaptive control - Optimizing drug dosing for individual patients
- Non-parametric methods - Advanced statistical approaches for pharmacometric analysis
- Clinical decision support - Software tools for personalized dosing
